There is a private paved garden and ample parking. |
Bulbarrow Cottage is named after one of the magnificent downland hills which the farm overlooks. This cottage offers high quality family accommodation right in the centre of Hartgrove Farm. |

Attractions
Hartgrove Farm is an organic, working farm, with lots of different farm animals and wildlife. Deer and buzzards are a common sight and previous visitors have enjoyed a stint of badger watching. The walking locally is outstanding, whether on National Trust chalk downs or on one of the many valley footpaths. Detailed maps and guides are available. The farm has its own tennis courts and games barn, with local facilities for swimming, horse riding, golf and fishing.
Fontmell Magna and other local villages have good pubs serving food.
There are several fine stately homes and gardens within easy reach, including Stourhead (National Trust), Kingston Lacey (NT) and Chettle. The beautiful sandy beaches at Studland are about 45 minutes away. Poole Quay, with its regular crossings to Brownsea Island, is even closer.
The whole area is a walker's paradise with beautiful walks on the magnificent National Trust Downs, Hambledon Hill, Duncliffe Hill or the patchwork of valley footpaths including the lovely Stour Valley Way.
