Pixie Cottage is a traditional Cornish cottage from which the owners offer self catering accommodation throughout the year. It is at the end of a row of cottages built around 130 years ago. |
The cottage's cosy lounge features open beams and a log burning stove set in magnificent local granite wall. Also on the ground floor is an open beamed kitchen that is well equipped. |

On the first floor, up a fairly steep set of stairs, are 2 bedrooms, both with double beds and duvets, and a bathroom with a power shower over the bath. |
Location
Pixie Cottage is located in the centre of the village about 150 meters from the harbour. It has easy access to all of the village shops, pubs and restaurants and is well situated to explore the whole village.
Transfer Times
- M5 at Exeter, 2hours
- Truro, 1hour
- Penzance, 30 minutes
- Falmouth, 30 minutes
Attractions
Along the coastal path towards Rinsey and Praa Sands there is a wonderful cliff top walk with great views over Mounts Bay towards Newlyn and Mousehole. Ideal for an evening stroll at the end of the day or possibly the start of a longer and more vigorous venture.
Porthleven has a working harbour, a beautiful beach and a variety of shops which will cater for most of your needs. Should you like a change from self catering there are a number of excellent restaurants and you will receive a friendly welcome from its three pubs. There is easy access to cliff walks in both directions and it is well situated if you wish to venture further afield to explore Cornwall's renowned coastline and scenery.
